Twitter & Forex Signals
Posted on 16. Apr, 2009 by admin in forex signals
Yesterday I tried sending some signals through twitter. The great thing about this is that the message directly pops up to all my followers, like instant messaging to a large group. This signal topic is still in a testing phase, but my plan is to make it an integrated part of this blog, with daily signals, and a journal so you can follow my performance. I will keep you guys posted.
Let’s have a look at the signals from yesterday. There were a total of three trades. The first one was short EUR/USD at 1.3251. We were up about 50 pips in profits, and I posted a new message on twitter, that I was moving stop loss to break even. This pair turned and hit our stop loss. A total of 0 pips. The next trade was a long position on USD/CHF at 1.1437. I was up at 42 pips in profit, and once again I moved my stop loss to break even, as written on twitter. The same thing happened, the pair turned against me and hit my stop loss. 0 pips. The last trade was a long USD/JPY at 99.44. This trade has been range trading all night, and this morning it started showing weakness, so I closed the trade about an hour ago at 99.17 for a total loss of -27 pips. Total for the days is -27 pips.
If any of you have been following the signals from twitter, please let me know how it works. Is this a preferable method, or do you recommend something else?

Let me know when you go live with this – we’re putting together some ideas to create a consolidated Twitter feed of strictly trading ideas. A more finetuned version of fxtwits.com.
It definitely is THE hot app to get short message out now and would serve you well. Just be consistent with it.
Also, I think you can probably do without manual moderation for your comments. In my blog, I’ve had hundreds of comments over the months and I’ve deleted one.
