TradingMetro and Fx Dimensions – Get Paid to Trade
Posted on 25. Feb, 2010 by Jakob.
I wrote about this back in 2007, and now it seems that the people behind TradingMetro and FxDimensions are one step closer to the actual launch of this project. The entire thing is really interesting, and I have already signed up for more information. Apparently you can be taken into consideration for a spot on the team if you can generate an average of 300 pips per month. You can either send them proof in terms of a performance record, or you can go through 21-day testing period, to see if you qualify. There is a lot of information about the program, and by signing up here you will be taken to a video where you get all the information you need to know. I am really excited about this program, so hopefully I will get a reply from them soon.

TradeProfits Update
Posted on 11. May, 2009 by Jakob.
The last couple of days I have been rather busy. I have a project at school which is due Wednesday in next week, followed by three exams in June. Furthermore, my laptop broke down last week, so I am currently only able to write when I am at school, so at the moment I am a bit tied up. However, a lot of new things are happening, and I will be updating more when I get my laptop back, hopefully in the beginning of this week. The signals last week didn’t go too well, as there was a lot of pairs bouncing up and down, in a narrow range. I have decided not to post any more signals before I have a page set up, where I can specify the exact entry, exits, size, and %. This will probably not be done before I have finished my exams, but let’s see. Last Friday we had the NFP numbers and I attended the webinar from TradingMetro. This went a whole lot better than last time, and I will definitely be attending these webinars in the future. I will write a full post about this webinar, so guys know what to expect, and why you should join in. I have also opened a micro account at FXCM, as I had received an invitation to join the new web 2.0 site, Currensee. I have not been able to spent a lot of time in there, but overall it seems promising, and I look forward to become an active member. I will update you on every single aspect of Currensee, within a short period. Today I have just added TradeProfits.net to BlogRank, a new page where you can see different blogs, and how they rank according to traffic, RSS subscribers, pagerank, etc. This is a great place if you are looking for new blogs to read. If you got your own blog, you might want to add it, in order to increase traffic. Alright, that’s it for now. If you enjoy reading this blog, I would appreciate if you would help me to make Tradeprofits rank better, by signing up for my RSS and adding me as a favorite on Technorati.

Non Farm Payroll Webinar – TradingMetro
Posted on 29. Apr, 2009 by Jakob.
Last month I attended the Non Farm Payroll webinar over at TradingMetro, and it didn’t go exactly as planned. However things like these happen and you can’t blame TradingMetro for this. As the beginning of the last webinar was interesting, I would expect that the rest would have been just as good. So I will give Samuel Araki and the other guys from TradingMetro another short, when they host their next free Non Farm Payroll webinar, May 8th. I am looking forward to this event. NFP days are always kind of crazy, and it is always interesting to get different perspectives on how this could be traded. The webinar is free, so why not go and sign up now.

Reviewing the Non-Farm Payroll Webinar from TradingMetro
Posted on 06. Apr, 2009 by Jakob.
As I wrote a few days ago, I had signed up for the TradingMetro webinar for the Non-Farm Payroll last Friday April 3rd. Everything started out well, half an hour before the actual news. I logged in, and this guy who was going to take us through the event, started off, explaining some fundamental aspects, in order to give us a better understanding of the current market. This was interesting, and well explained. As we got closer to the news release, things started going downhill. Three minutes before the numbers was to be released, the guy from TradingMetro (whose name I forgot), apparently lost his entire internet connection. So this other guy from TradingMetro started speaking, telling us, what was happening. Of course, the second guy was really unprepared for this (which is understandable), hence he did not give much valuable information throughout the remaining part of the event. Apparently he didn’t have any news feed, so we got the actual numbers from another person who was attending the webinar, a few minutes after they were released. We were mostly told to simply stay out of the market, which, in my mind was a good call, since many pairs was just whipsawing up and down for a long time. However the entire thing was rather disappointing and I feel really bad for TradingMetro, as they have just started their page a few days ago, and this was probably not the best way to start off. However, it seems typical that losing an internet connection should happen around Non-Farm Payroll release. I mean, everything else seems to slow down around this release, Oanda is always acting weird, forexfactory is inaccessible due to too many people trying to reach the page, charts are exploding, chat rooms are booming with messages faster than it is possible for you to scroll the mouse up and down, etc.
Overall, the webinar was not very successful, but there is a good and valid reason behind it. The first part of the webinar was interesting, and I am sure that if everything had played out the way it should, it would have been a success. If TradingMetro is running the same event next month, I will definitely give them a second chance. Now if any of you guys was at the Fxstreet webinar, please share your thoughts on this.

Non-Farm Payroll Webinar
Posted on 03. Apr, 2009 by Jakob.
Alright guys, it is the first Friday of the month, and you know what that means. Non-Farm Payroll numbers will be released in about one hour. This is one of the best trading possibilities for Forex traders, to capitalize from the market. However, trading this event can be tough call, specially if you are new to the forex market. Luckily, there is a possibility to get help from skilled traders, in order to make the best of it. I am aware of two webinars today, which you can join for free. The first one, is from TradingMetro, which you can join here. The second one is from Fxstreet, and you can join in here. I have never tried any of the two services before, but today I have signed up for the webinar from TradingMetro. I look forward to see how this plays out. I know this information is coming a bit late, but I hope there is room enough for you guys, if you decide to join any of these two. If any of you will be joining FXstreets webinar, please come and share your experience. Good luck to all of you.
