Forex Peace Army – Signal Change & Updates

Posted on 16. Dec, 2009 by .

Forex Peace Army used to send forex signals out to their subscribers, one email per day, with trade recommendations for the upcoming day. However, a while ago, they changed this, and instead of one email, they started to send several emails, regarding the upcoming news events, and how to trade them. In the new way of delivering signals there is a stronger focus on news trading, and less on the overall market movement and correlation with the major indexes. Apparently not everyone enjoyed this new approach (including me), so the guys from Forex Peace Army sent out an email asking their members to vote for their favorite method. You can see the results here; it seems like we might go back to the old way again. In addition to the new daily signals which are made by Felix, you can still see the daily signal recommendation from Sir Pipsalot here, and the weekly outlook from Sive Morten here.

Profit Mongers – The New Forex Diamonds?

Yesterday I got an email from Sir Pipsalot, the guy who is (or has been) in charge of Forex Diamonds for some time now. I have written a review of Forex Diamonds before, and I believe that Sir Pipsalot is a great forex trader. In the email, it is stated that they will open a new service similar to that of Forex Diamonds, called Profit Mongers; it says there is a bunch of different reasons for this, but the most important ones are a broader range of services, and a lower price. Forex Diamonds was priced at $300 a month, and Profit Mongers will be $180 a month. However if you are one of the first 100 to sign up, they will lower and lock the monthly price to $150. In addition to this, they offer a trial period of two weeks for $30, if you sign up in October. This seems like a rather good offer, and if the service is basically same as Forex Diamonds for half the price, I think it might be worth it. I might just sign up for the trial to see how it works. Here is a comment I found over at FxStreet the other day:

ForexPeaceArmy is probably the largest site online devoted to reviewing services related to Forex Trading. The site has been around since 2006, back then known as forexbastards. ForexPeaceArmy is much more than just reviews of forex signals. They offer free daily signals and market overview, posted by a guy known as Sir Pipsalot. They offer a weekly market forecasts, written by the currency expert, Sive Morten. They offer help to individuals who have been scammed by brokers, signal service “companies”, etc. In general, ForexPeaceArmy is an awesome portal for anyone interested in forex trading.

I just got an email from the guys over at Forex Peace Army, telling me that they are adding a new service to their site. They got in contact with a guy called Sive Morten, an expert economist who has been working in a European bank for more than ten years. He will be writing a weekly analysis of the forex market. I went over to check out his first weekly analysis yesterday, and it seems promising. I will keep following this guy in the upcoming weeks. You can check this week’s analysis here.

Performance test of Expert Adviser’s

I have just paid a short visit to the performance test page, over at FPA. The performance test page is basically a subpage to FPA, where they show the result from different EA’s which have been forward tested. The results are very mixed. They are currently testing 14 different robots, including the well known FAP turbo, and the new Forex MegaDroid, which I wrote about here. I believe the choice of these 14 different robots is based on user suggestion, as I have received a couple of email, where I was asked which EA’s I would like to see tested. So if you have any preferences as to what you would like FPA to test, I guess you should simply throw them an email. Needless to say that I find this to be a very good alternative to actually buying them! Sales letters are one thing, reality is a different one, especially is this industry! Another positive aspect of these test are, that even if you buy it, you most likely won’t keep it running 24 hours a day, just to test it trading paper money. FAP will (If I understood them correct). When you have seen sufficient forward and feel convinced, then buying it might become an option. I am looking to do some EA testing as well, and post the results here at TradeProfits. More on this later. Let’s have a look at the results from FPA’s performance test.

Forex MegaDroid – Another Expert Advisor Hits the Market

Forex MegaDroid – Another Expert Advisor Hits the Market

These Forex Robots are just flooding the market these days. It seems like there is a new EA every single day, always promising the most astonishing results. Well a few days ago, the new Forex MegaDroid hit the market. There has been a lot of talk about it on different forums, and obviously there is a lot of bloggers who are promoting this to be the greatest EA ever. If you go to the sales letter, you will see the typical exaggerated claims! “95.82% Accuracy In EVERY SINGLE Market Condition” – “The Next Level In Automated Forex Robot Trading: Multi-Market Performance, Turning $1 Into $4 In EVERY Market Condition” – “bla bla bla…” The list keeps going! It will probably take you an hour to get through the entire sales letter. If and when you reach the bottom of the sales letter, you will see all usual warnings, terms & conditions, etc. which of course tells you that all the above stated results is only hypothetical, no guarantee for future results, results not representing real trading, etc.

Review of Forex Diamonds

Since I often have been using Forex Peace Army to look for forex signal providers, I have often thought about trying out the Forex Diamond service which is run by the same people who run forex peace army. However, I never signed up for the trial before two weeks ago. I was under the impression that the forex diamond room was a place where they would focus only on news and spike trading. As spike trading is not favorite method for trading the forex market, I didn’t really think of this room as an option for me. However, after reading several different reviews of the room I decided to sign up for the 14 days trial for 10$. So I went to the page and paid the fee to join. You can cancel your subscription anytime you want, but you need to do this before you trial ends, if you don’t want to be charged $300 for another month!
