Build Your Own Expert Advisor

With new Expert Advisors coming out almost daily, it can be a rather tough task chose the right one. All of them claims to make you rich within the end of the week, and yet I am still to see one that consistently makes profit. Although some of them might be profitable, they often have a horrible risk/reward ratio, where one loosing trade will take you back down to zero or worse. I just spoke to one of my friends a few minutes ago, and he told me he was about to learn how to program EA´s and then I thought about this article I read the other day. Well how about programming your own forex robots? I know that this requires some skills and it takes time to learn; so how about a shortcut? Apparently ForexGenerator should make this easier. I have tried their service so I can’t tell if it is good or not, but you can sign up for a free 60 day trial period to test it. If you would like to develop you own EA, why not give this a shot?

Not long ago we had the new FAP Turbo Evolution released, and now we are moving on for the next one, Ivybot. Apparently the creators of Ivybot had a webinar last night where people could get some more information about this new EA. I have been to some of these pre-release webinars and in my opinion, this is nothing but a sales pitch! They will go on for hours, about why you should get exactly this EA and not the other one. But if anybody did attend the webinar, and they had something truly breathtaking to share, please drop a comment. If you want to see the webinar, you still have the chance, as they recorded it and put it up on the sales page. Grab the webinar here. The Ivybot is to be released today around 9 AM EST, July 28th. What I have read about it so far, is that the mechanisms of the Ivybot is somewhat similar to the FAP Turbo, where as the Ivybot will work with four different pairs, and the FAP Turbo is only meant to be used on one pair. The price should be in the range of $150. I will wait and see what other people are saying before I jump in. What are your thoughts on the Ivybot?

ForexPeaceArmy starts testing Forex Signal & Managed Accounts

ForexPeaceArmy has been running their testing of different Expert Advisors for some time now and more EA’s are added every week. This feature is great and I am sure this is helping a lot of people to decide if they should buy a certain EA or not. I find the testing over at ForexPeaceArmy to be reliable, updated, accurate and objective. Because of this, it was great news when I got an email from ForexPeaceArmy telling me they are adding two more topics to the testing section; namely Forex signals and managed accounts. Although there might be coming more EA’s out, than new Forex signal providers and companies offering managed accounts, this is still a huge topic with a lot of services to be reviewed! Obviously there are certain limitations to the testing of Forex signals, as the guys from ForexPeaceArmy cannot spend every night sitting in front of their laptop waiting in a chat room for trades to be called out (if this was the case with a particular signal provider), but I am sure they will do their very best to test as many as possible. Currently they are testing two different forex signal providers and one managed account. The tests of the forex signal providers are currently showing negative results, and no results for the managed account at this moment. Go over and check it out!
