StealPips – A new scam from the guy behind USDBOT

Posted on 23. Mar, 2010 by in EA, Random Noise, scam

I am sure most of you guys remember USDBOT; an expert advisors which was sold through clickbank some time ago. I have written a post about it here, because I was in contact with this guy “Mark Trenton” over Skype who was telling me that he would help me out with the promotion of my new book Forex Hacking, if I emailed my list about his new EA. So I did, and afterwards I never heard a word from Mark again. Hi simply disappeared. A few days later, a lot of buzz about the USDBOT started to pop up, all over the net. USDBOT was a scam. Apparently it was an exact copy of a free EA from the Forex Factory forum called Opto123. USDBOT was then changed into an EA using a martingale strategy, and now the product has been removed from (and by) Clickbank (probably due to a high refund level, as people could simply grab the free version).

Then a couple of days ago, I get an email about this new EA called StealPips. I go to check out the landing page and the affiliate site, and it looks like an exact copy of the USDBOT affiliate site. Everything is setup in the exact same manner, with same affiliate prizes, and promotion emails. Obviously I am already turned off, and I close the site down, and forgot about it. Then yesterday, I get a message over Skype, and guess who´s writing. Yep, you got it; “Mark Trenton”. The message is short and to the point; He has a new EA called StealPips and he would like me to promote it. I write him back, asking what happened last time we talked, and obviously I got no reply. My guess is, that StealPips is another scam, and I am going to stay far away from this one. I recommend you do the same.

I am 100% sure that StealPips is a scam. Jakob, there is no need to guess that it is a scam. Mark Trenton is totally untrustworthy.

I second your opinion. I already tried the Stealpips and can confirm that it was a scam. I will figure out how I can get a refund for it. I think I should forget about it as I already lost my money.
I have tried a lot of EAs and most of them turned out to be outright scams. Now another one, Stealpips.

Yep, EA´s is a wonderland for scammers! Find a free one on a forum. Give it a name. Make a long shitty landing page. Scam people and make money. Do this over and over again. These guys are marketers, not traders..
