There are lots of great places to get news about, what is hot in the trading sphere. Forums, bogs, newspapers, TV, etc. However, sorting good from bad, interesting from boring and reliable from undependable, can be a difficult and time-consuming task. Luckily there is an easy way around this. Social bookmarking and social news pages have received a lot of attention in recent years, and with good reason. It really sorts all the information in the best way possibly.

There is a ton of different social bookmarking sites out there, but a few of them should be enough to keep you going for a while. The best known, and the one who started the entire trend, is Digg. This page is huge, and you can find a lot o new and interesting materiel every day. The front-page over at Digg, always seems to be filled with typical topics such as, apple, Mr. bush, lists, etc. So you might want to jump into the sub-category World & Business, if you are looking for financial news. Similar to Digg, is StumbleUpon, another great site/software for exploration of the web. StumbleUpon works a bit different than Digg, using a toolbar while browsing around, with the option to give a specific site a thumb up. These two are probably the most popular ones at the moment. They are great tools for finding interesting stuff online, and stealing time!

Now if you are looking for more trading related information, Digg and StumbleUpon are probably not the best social sites. Currently there are two social sites related to trading, which I am aware of, which is Tip’d and Feed The Bull. Both pages are great sources for anything related to trading, investing, Wall Street buzz, etc. However, Tip’d and Feed The Bull, are both working with a more specific topic than Digg and StumbleUpon, so don’t expect as much action. A typical front page story on Tip’s or Feed The Bull, will usually have around 5 – 15 votes. Although the number of votes is rather small compared to a front page story on Digg, this should not be underestimated. There is a lot of interesting materiel at these two pages. Go and become a member, and start voting and posting. If any of you guys know any other site similar to these ones, please drop a comment.

We appreciate the write-up and kind words. It is great to hear that what we are providing to our members makes an impact. But, if it wasn’t for our members our site wouldn’t have such great content and be so strong. We look forward to seeing you around more often.

    Kind regards,

    FeedTheBull Team
