Relevant News to your inbox

Posted on 02. Apr, 2009 by in Random Noise

Yesterday I wrote about the two trading related social news sites, Feed The Bull and Tip’d. These two pages are great resources for finding new interesting stories. However, they are not very useful if you are looking for news on a more specific topic. If you are looking for new articles on a specific topic, as soon as they are released, I suggest you to sign up for Google Alerts.

You can add as many search terms as you want, decide which type (news, web, groups, comprehensive) and how often you want to receive it (as-it-happens, once a day or once a week). Simply add your email address, and the news will be sent right to your inbox. This is a great way to keep track of news which you find interesting. I have a few alerts running at the moment, and I find this very helpful. Every morning I receive news on forex, which always includes daily fundamental and technical analysis from major sites like fxstreet, actionforex, etc. as well as new blog posts and so on. Signing up is free, so why not give it a shot.
