Plimus Discontinues Forex Related products

Plimus along with Clickbank are probably the two largest affiliate networks out there, and they have been merchants for thousands of forex related products and services. As you all know, new forex related products are released on a daily basis; EA´s, trade room services, ebooks, strategies, indicators, videos, etc.

One thing 90% of these products / services have in common is the hype. The potential client is promised lots of profits in no time but more often than not, the hype is not reflected in real life once the product / service is bought. A lot of the products released are actually fairly good, but simply hyped too much and obviously the client will be disappointed when expectations aren’t met.

As Plimus and Clickbank require vendors to have a refund guarantee, a lot of clients end up getting exactly that; a refund. Apparently the refund rates for forex related products have been increasing substantially over the years, and now Plimus decided to stop selling forex related products. They haven’t directly stated the reason for this, but I feel fairly confidant the main reason is the refund rates.

Clickbank continues to sell forex related products, and we are seeing more and more private affiliate programs as a way for vendors to avoid paying fee´s to the middleman.

Product / service creators should take the hype down a notch and up the quality of products being sold. Clients, vendors and middlemen would be better off.
