MyFxBook – New Stats and Strategy section

MyFxBook is constantly updating their site with new features. Last time I wrote about them they started a contest section as well as a review section. Now they have added a new feature to the performance tracking – the hourly statistics. This allows you to track your trades from the following 4 different comparison metrics:
- Winning trades vs. Losing trades
- Long trades vs. Short trades
- Profit on long trades vs. profit on short trades
- Profit on winning trades vs. losses on losing trades
This is a brilliant new feature which can help you in enhancing your performance through detailed analysis. Other sites with similar features often offer one of these ways to measure your performance but not all four. The new Strategies section is another great addition to MyFxBook. Here is what MMyFxBook says about it:
- Ability to analyze, organize, group, sort, archive, study and share any strategy tester reports you create (back-tests).
- Learn, discuss, compare and search for any strategies you use or have used in the past to find the most optimized settings.
- Minimize development and testing time by working with the community to get results faster. No more need to save your statements on your PC and then browse between reports to compare them – now you can just upload the strategy tester report (either the original, or zip it for faster upload), get it analyzed and archived immediately, and be able to quickly and easily see and refer to past tests and much more with a few clicks of your mouse.
This is the perfect tool, if you are testing a couple of different systems or expert advisors. Simply upload and get all the analytic details you could ever ask for. MyFxBook is a great site with a lot of cool features and they continue to make it better and better. I look forward to see what they might come up with next time.
