Investimonials – A Review Site from Timothy Sykes

Timothy Sykes is a well-known pennystock trader. I have mentioned him several times here on TradeProfits before. Last night I got an email from Tim about a new site called Investimonials. The site looks cool, and navigation is easy. At the moment, there are more than 3000 financial “products” added to the site, just waiting to be reviewed; that is, brokers, blogs, websites, DVD’s, books, newsletters, software and freebies. As the site was launched last night, there are only a few reviews at this moment. However I expect that Investimonials will take off fast, due to the IV buck system. You can earn IV bucks from signing up, referring friends, writing reviews, etc. 1 IV buck equals $1 and you can use the IV bucks to buy real products.

Simply from signing up you will earn $31, which will take you less than 2 minutes. You will earn $2 from every person you refer, and $1 for reviews and forum posts. The IV bucks can be used to buy products; obviously you can buy all the products which Timothy Sykes offers from his blog (Pennystocking DVD’s, Tim Alerts, etc.), so if you sign up and write some reviews, you should be able to generate enough IV bucks to buy one month of Tim Alerts, within the first day. Actually just from signing up, you will already have enough IV bucks to buy Timothy Sykes book An American Hedge Fund, as this is priced at $17. There are also other products, such as the Forex Income Engine, Forex Nitty Gitty, The Kirk Report, Brian Shannon’s Technical Analysis book, etc.

So far I have made one review simply to see how things work. The process is fast and easy. You review can be a maximum of 1000 characters and you need to add some ratings too. I was pleasantly surprised to see that TradeProfits already has been added. So if you would like to write your first review, feel free to review TradeProfits.

My rating:

Honesty: I think that Timothy Sykes is a reliable character. I have tried Tim Alerts and seen some of his DVD’s, and I feel that it is valuable. Surely he is a good marketer, and some might argue that he is pushing it a little too hard. However, the intention with Investimonials seems good.

Informative: I am sure that Investimonials will be very informative within a short period, but as the site was launched recently, there is still a lack of reviews. This is only a matter of time. However, the site is still prone to fake reviews just as any other review site. I wonder if they will check the reviews as the guys from Forex Peace Army do.

Innovative: There are a lot of similar sites out there, but the idea with the IV buck system makes Investimonials stand out from the crowd. Now you can share your thoughts on trading related products and get rewarded for it.

Usability: The site is clean, signing up is easy, writing and reading reviews is probably as easy as it can be.

Overall: Although there are a lot of similar sites out there already, I have a feeling that Investimonials will be more successful due to the IV buck incentive system. I will be interesting to see if Timothy Sykes can pull this one off. Check out Investimonials here, sign up and earn some IV bucks.
