Review of Trader Outlook from Bob Iaccino – Day 4
Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by Jakob.
Last Friday was my 4th day with Bob Iaccino from Trader Outlook. Friday’s webinar was rather short, as Bob didn’t go over any news. So we went directly into Trade reviews. The possible trades that Bob sets up, are always using same pairs, namely: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, AUD/USD, EUR/JPY and EUR/GBP. However, as USD/CHF has been trading in a way which does not fit Bob’s strategy, he has been talking about changing this pair for an xxx/NZD pair. He said that this change might be taking place in the beginning of this week. I will let you guys know.

Review of Trader Outlook from Bob Iaccino – Day 3
Posted on 27. Aug, 2009 by Jakob.
Alright, I might as well do the third day review of Trader Outlook as the daily webinar has just ended. Today we had another webinar in the exact same manner as the two last days. One new trade was added to the trade setup page, which I have entered in MetaTrader. I will let you all know when the trades trigger and how they play out. So far I have three limit orders, which are waiting to be triggered. The trades always seem to be entered with two targets. Bob does not give a specific stop loss, but he always recommends a level which it should be placed below (or above). As some people in the room apparently have been asking questions about the stop losses, we had a short explanation about money management and risk/reward ratio today. Although the webinar only lasts for half an hour, he still manages to give a lot of detailed explanations. I asked him if it was possible to see a trade record somewhere. He answered that the only way to do this is to go through the archived webinars and compare. This is not something I plan on doing, as each webinar is half an hour long and there a many of them! But at least you have the chance to do so if you sign up. I feel that he is an honest person, and with hundreds of people in the room, I am sure he is a profitable trader. Stay tuned for tomorrows update.

Midnight Forex and FX-sms
Posted on 27. Aug, 2009 by Jakob.
Midnight Forex is a Forex signal provider and they have been around for some time now. For a long period they were getting very good reviews both over at FX-Review forum and ForexPeaceArmy. Their service was rather expensive, but as they were delivering good signals, apparently their subscribers were willing to pay up. The signals they sent out were pretty much set and forget, delivered everyday around midnight GMT. Then some month ago, things started turning around, and the profitable consistency of their signals started to fade. One of the creators of Midnight Forex, called Eric, started to send out email to all the members about the lack of good results. Everyone was told that they were working on a new and improved system which would be ready within a short period. I am not sure if they actually did change the system, but nonetheless, things have only been going downhill ever since. If you look at the latest reviews over at ForexPeaceArmy and FX-Review Forum, you will see that there are a lot of unsatisfied customers. If you go to Midnight Forex’s homepage you will see they have shut down their service (preliminary I suppose that is), hence they are currently not taking any new members. Then a few days ago, I get an email from a new signal provider called FX-sms. I went to their homepage to check things out. There is not a lot of information, but they state to have made some 10000 pips since the beginning of 2009, of course without any track record of any kind. The price for their service is a whopping $399 a month! Shortly after I go to visit FX-Review Forum, where one of the members has just made a thread about FX-sms. I suggest you go over and check out the thread here. In this thread, one guy mentions that there are several similarities between FX-Sms and Midnight Forex, PayPal address among others. I am not saying that it is the same people behind both services, but I would definitely wait for some honest reviews of FX-Sms before signing up. There are a lot of scammers in this business, and $400 is a lot of money! If any of you guys had any experience with Midnight Forex or FX-Sms, please feel free to share your thoughts.

Review of Trader Outlook from Bob Iaccino – Day 2
Posted on 27. Aug, 2009 by Jakob.
So yesterday was my second day as a member of Trader Outlook. For some reason the internet connection was gone, here in the apartment yesterday and nobody really knew why. Then yesterday just about an hour before I went to sleep we got it back. So I didn’t have a chance to follow yesterday’s webinar. But as I wrote in my last post, all the webinars are recorded and can be downloaded from the archive. I went in to my MetaTrader to see if any of the posted signals had been triggered, and that was not the case.

Latest trade for 50 pips profit – August total 587 pips
Posted on 25. Aug, 2009 by Jakob.
That’s right. It is some days ago I took it. It was a limit order, and I posted it on twitter, so surely everyone had plenty of time to enter. I was risking 2% on a 100 pips stop loss, and I closed the trade with 50 pips of profit or 1% profit. This brings me up to a total of 587 pips for August and 6.37% of my account balance. All the trades have been posted in real time, for free, and everyone should have had a chance to follow. In the upcoming days I will look into more trades, and a better system to get the signals out to my readers. If you want to be sure to get the newest information about my signals, sign up for my RSS feed, my newsletter and my twitter account.

Arrived in Lisboa
Posted on 25. Aug, 2009 by Jakob.
Alright guys, it’s been some time since the last update. So here goes. The last couple of days I have been very busy, hence the lack of updates. From now on, I will start posting a lot more. 4 days ago, I arrived in Lisboa, as I am taking one semester abroad to study. First two days at a hostel, and now finally I got a room close to the center of the town. My first impression of Lisboa is good. The city is beautiful and the weather is good. Furthermore, I got a room, where there is a shared internet connection, so I can start getting back into some forex trading. I plan on signing up for the Trader Outlook trial, so I can give you guys a review of the service. I also plan on getting back into some sending some forex signals. It has been going rather good lately, and I hope I can keep it that way. Check out my performance here. Stay tuned for more forex news.

BabyPips new site – AskPips
Posted on 14. Aug, 2009 by Jakob.
I have written about the well known forex portal BabyPips before. This is a great page with a lot of information for forex traders. They have been around for many years with good reason. You can be sure to find some valueble information. Besides Babypips, they also run Freshpips which is a social news site like digg and reddit, just about anything related to forex trading; Another truly great site. Now today I just got an email about their newest site, AskPips. I guess you can tell what it is all about. The site is very similar to Yahoo ask, just about forex. I have paid them a visit and signed up. I am not sure how long the site has been up and running, but probably not very long. In spite of this, there seems to be a high level of activity over there. I am sure this will turn out to be another popular part of the pips familie. Do you have any questions about forex trading? Then go over to AskPips and give it a go. You will probably have your answer within a few hours.
